Beaver Street Enterprise Center

The Beaver Street Enterprise Center is a full-service business incubator in northwest Jacksonville, an area that has been economically distressed.

The business incubator provides professional office space, receptionist services and technical assistance with preparing marketing strategies, implementing business plans and assisting with professional networking opportunities to our client tenants starting a core city businesses.

Our goal? Restore economic health to targeted areas in the core city. Grow jobs. Revitalize neighborhoods. Provide opportunity.

FreshMinistries opened the incubator in 2003 with help from the City of Jacksonville, the State of Florida and the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Beaver Street Entrepreneurial Center II

BSEC broke ground on Phase 2 of the Center March 1, 2010. The new building, called Beaver Street Entrepreneurial Center II, will:

• Utilize green construction processes, with a goal to become LEED environmentally certified;
• Create and retain 125 new full-time jobs, with 51% employing low- to moderate-income workers;
• Transform a 1-story, 7,300sq.ft. warehouse into 2-story, 13,000sq.ft. green state-of-the-art facility for high-growth, "Stage 2" enterprises;
• Serve 22 existing businesses and 12 new businesses;
• Work toward restoring economic health in Jacksonville’s core city through nurturing small businesses that create jobs and neighborhood services.
