National Mentoring Month | Caleb’s Story
January 10, 2019Stories of Success – Joy
January 25, 2019Benjamin Nzabarinda and Erica Ramos, both refugees, joined the Native Fresh team in December of 2017. These two have been an extraordinary part of Native Fresh’s growth. Benjamin and Erica show up to the #greenhouse daily with the drive to work hard and make an impact in the community.
Ben and his family moved to Jacksonville last October from the Congo. In December, he came to Native Fresh through the World Relief’s Refugee Program and has been a tremendous help with the day-to-day operations of the facility.
Ben enjoys working with all of the different types of plants and loves seeing the rapid growth that takes place within the Aquaponics system.
After coming to Jacksonville from Colombia in October 2017, Erica also joined the Native Fresh team during the same time as Benjamin, December 2017. Erica works in the greenhouse caring for the crops, planting/harvesting produce, and monitoring growth.
During her free time, Erica loves cooking in her kitchen, spending time with her daughter, and visiting Jacksonville Beach.
Both FreshMinistries and Native Fresh are honored to have two such hardworking and ambitious individuals on our team. We can’t wait to see all of the great things these two do for Native Fresh in the future!
