September 1, 2021In honor of National Women’s Day, we wanted to recognize a very special and hard-working Davieyell.
As an unemployed, single mother of five children, Davieyell was struggling to stay afloat. Without stable housing or a means of transportation, Davieyell was desperately searching for a way out of her rough situation when she came across the LifePoint Career Institute.
Following her 10-week hospitality training, Davieyell had the skills, knowledge, and connections necessary to secure full-time employment with an incredible organization. Soon thereafter, this young mother was able to purchase hew own transportation, secure housing for her and her family, and continue to be a great mother to her amazing children.
Our team at FreshMinistries applauds this outstanding mother for her dedication and drive to provide what is best for both her and her children. Despite her struggles, Davieyell never gave up and continued to be the best role model for her children. While life does not always give you lemonade, Davieyell is a great example of someone who took the lemons life handed her and made sweet lemonade.
The LifePoint Career Institute offers free training and tutoring to students to prepare them for work in the hospitality and healthcare fields. Sessions are taught in our renovated classrooms at the Weaver Center for Community Outreach. Learn more by visiting, freshministries.org/lifepoint-career-institute/.
