What counseling here looks like.

Substance abuse wears down a person, then a family, then a neighborhood. Preventing it and treating it is one of the core ways we keep people and communities strong. This program is for adults living with a substance use problem now, and for adults who can see one coming.

You meet with a master's level licensed therapist, one on one or in a group, whichever fits you. If medication management would help, we can refer you to a board licensed psychiatrist. The goal of every session is steady and plain: firmer ground under you, and no more lost ground.

One appointment a week.

Treatment is a weekly appointment. The average program runs about 15 treatment days, start to finish. Sessions happen in the daytime or the evening, in person at the Weaver Center or by video from wherever you are. Work and family do not have to stop for you to get help.
