January’s Employees of the Month: Benjamin Nzabarinda and Erica Ramos
January 21, 2019Teaching a Man to Fish
June 14, 2019Before receiving training at the LifePoint Career Institute, Joy was struggling to find employment. She was several months behind on rent, struggling to buy necessities, and didn’t have much hope for the future.
After just 10-weeks with the team at LifePoint Career Institute, Joy was taught how to professionally present herself at a job interview, where to look for a career, and other job readiness skills. While Joy was upset she was unable to attend her December graduation ceremony, it was for a great reason – she had a job interview!
Before long, Joy was contacted that she had gotten the job! Joy is now fully employed at a local call center, was able to catch up on rent, and is living comfortably with a stable career.
Joy strongly believe that she was able to earn this job because of her newfound confidence, which didn’t really exist before her time with LifePoint. She learned to “Dress for the job you want, not the job you have,” a phrase she often heard but never followed.
To this day, Joy recommends the LifePoint Career Institute all of her friends, neighbors, and every community member who is on the search for job training!
The LifePoint Career Institute offers training and tutoring to students to prepare them for work in the hospitality and healthcare fields. Learn more through the link:
